A Little Birdy Told Me. . .

This gentle little chickadee is an homage to my home in the upper Midwest. I moved from my home-state of Minnesota to Washington D.C. for work (despite what my other art titles would indicate, things are going well). While the move has impacted my career for the best, it is lonely here. Therefor, here is a symbol of adaptability and resilience, - a chickadee. 

The iconic and adorable call of "chicka - dee - dee - dee" is an easily recognized call from these little puffs of feathers. "A Little Birdy Told Me" chickadee is an image of rest, comfort, and the warmth of home. She is highlighted in a glow of sunlight and draped in luxurious fabric, where the chickadee rests - as we all should.
