September's Cathedrals + Artist Feature: Christianna Love!!!

I am excited for two major developments this month.
For one, I can hint at my next collection drop!
This upcoming collection is a series of cathedral paintings, using references from my travels throughout Europe. Each piece is dedicated to the intricacy of Catholic architecture, the power of these institutions, and their impacts on our lives. The collection will feature 5 original watercolor paintings, ranging in size. And for those interested, I will be offering limited edition prints! I am so very excited for this release, I've truly put my technical skills to work while sharing the more intimate parts of my life and influences.
My next exciting announcement? I'm launching "Artist Feature of the Month"!
The goal for Artist Feature of the Month is to highlight a talented artist I have gotten to know, I admire, and/or someone I want all of my wonderful readers to know about. For the month of September, I am honored to introduce Christianna Love.
Christianna has been a beacon of support and kindness as I've entered the creator world. She goes out of her way to support other female artists, comment on posts, and develop networks for creators. "Hi! I’m Christianna Love, owner of a little gem of an Etsy shop where I create nature-inspired jewellery. I called it Blue Moonglade for two things that enchant me: the rarity of true blue in nature (it’s more often an optical illusion of light rather than a pigment), and the poetic beauty of “moonglade,” the shimmering track of moonlight across water.
For me, art is a way to bring the abstract inner self to the surface in concrete, physical form. It reminds me of the painter, Basil Hallward, in Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray, when he refuses to exhibit his masterpiece because he had “put too much of [him]self into it.” Our best work happens when we dare to pour our authentic selves into our creations, rather than generating what we imagine others might want to see.
As an analogue girl in a digital world, I approach jewellery with the same intentional rhythm I do my home: slow, loving, and all made by hand, whether I’m baking bread, crafting natural personal care products, or wire-wrapping gemstones and daydreaming about their metaphysical properties. I’ve always been fascinated by patterns, whether in nature, design, or language (what’s up, mostly unused degrees in linguistics and ancient languages?!).
My designs translate these hidden structures through symmetry, geometry, and organic palettes. You’ll find the forest echoed in hammered copper and green gemstones, feel the coast in warm brass with blue crystals, or glimpse the twinkling of the night sky in cool silver and sparkling stones. Every piece is crafted to bridge the outer world and inner self, allowing us to wear a physical reminder of our own true spirit.
